Jammu, May 30: The indefinite strike call given by the students scholars joint action committee (SSJAC) has been called off said, Bindusr Abrol, at a press conference hold at university of Jammu campus here today
As per press release Abrol said that strike has been suspended because of fruitful and positive meeting with vice-chancellor who accused that strict action will be taken against those who committed molestation. He also said, VC gave assurance that strict code of conduct will be implemented regarding molestation in the campus.
Abrol said, that classes of all the department will restarts from Monday i.e. June Ist. He also thanked the students who played important role during the strike.
The members who were present in the press conference were Kuldeep Sharma, Ajay Taloor, Abdul Kadir, Amit Takayia, Mohinder Paul Singh Pandu, Varinder Singh Chib, Praduman Singh, Akhil Sangra, Rahul, Varinder Singh Badyal and Chetan Misri.
