| Dimple demands special package for J&K | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 30: Welcoming the induction of former chief minister of the state, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Ghulam Nabi Azad as minister in the union cabinet at a press conference here today Sunil Dimple said that state people are not happy over the allocation of ministeries to these leaders. He said taking ground ralities into consideration, state government requires immediate attention of central government on priority as the state has witnessed load period of militancy and as such need immediate solutions. He urged upon the prime minister and UPA chairperson to restore peace and normalcy in the J&K and ensure safety and security of life and property of common masses. Dimple also demanded that steps should be taken for implementation of delimitation commission in the state, as Jammu since last 60 years have witnessed discrimination, and as such immediate steps should be taken on this issue. He also urged upon the prime minister for a special package for the state for its fast development. He demanded railway connectivity of all the far flung areas of Jammu region.
