| International training programme on leadership for 21st century to organize by VV Giri National Labour Institute | | | Early Times Report NEW DELHI, Apr 3: VV Giri National Labour Institute, Noida is organising International Training Programme on leadership for 21st century professionals under the prestigious Indian technical and economic cooperation program of ministry of external affairs Government of India from 30th March to 7th of April. This program brings together professionals from diverse countries institutions and professional backgrounds with the shared commitment to strengthening leadership capacities in an increasingly dynamic and interconnected world. Rizwan Uddin Regional PF Commissioner -I and Chief Learning Officer, PDUNASS trained the diverse team of delegates from various Countries on "Goal Setting" and "Team Building" . Aligning a heterogeneous group into a team activity is a big challenge especially when the time constraints force the trainer to complete the task within allotted time. This being an international program , several associated intermittent activities - photo sessions, preparation cultural activities are all time consuming . The trainees divided into four teams, were assigned four different activities. All the teams comprised of members from diverse Countries of varying cultural backgrounds and value systems. Still , they exhibited a great deal of collaboration, roleplay group dynamics through interpersonal communication, resource distribution and task distribution/shared activity. They were given some raw materials. They prepared their dishes in a fireless environment within allotted half an hour . All the teams achieved the expected standard and quality of final products. Teams also arranged the dishes in array for exhibition before the senior authorities including the Dr Arvind, DG, VVGNLI. Shri Otojit Kshetrimayum, the Course Director and Ms Joy supported the activities throughout and helped significantly to make the training effective. Trainees from Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Ghana and Tajikistan were acknowledged for their active participation in the training sessions. Trainees in VVGNLI, experienced such kind of team activity for the very first which was slightly challenging, but the trainees exhibited extraordinary collaboration, patience, communication and belongingness. |
