SSP Jammu conducts casual inspection-cum-meeting with officers

JAMMU, Apr 4: Sr.Superintendent of Police Jammu, Joginder Singh, JKPS conducted a casual inspection-cum-meeting with officers of Sub-Division Akhnoor, Domana, West, East, North and South. The meeting was attended by concerned Zonal SsP, SDPO’s, SHO's, Incharge PP's and Incharge BPP's, Investigating Officers, readers and office staff.
During the meeting, the SSP reviewed the security scenario and crime disposal and directed officers to maintain heightened vigilance, intensify patrolling and conduct surprise nakas. He also stressed ensuring proper security of religious places, critical installations and other sensitive locations.
The SSP emphasized time-bound investigation and disposal of cases, strict action against drug peddlers and organised criminals, and effective implementation of new criminal laws, including provisions of Zero FIR and e-FIR.
Special focus was laid on the effective use of NAFIS, Google Sheets, IRAD, ICJS and NATGRID portals for improving policing efficiency and coordination. Officers were also advised to maintain proper turnout, professional body language and courteous behaviour while dealing with the public.
SSP Jammu stressed for proper implementation of PM RAHAT and timely completion of verifications.
He further stressed quality investigation, utilisation of FSL services, progress on CCTNS and citizen-centric policing, reiterating zero tolerance against drugs, corruption, crime burking and indiscipline.
