JAMMU, Apr 5: J&K PCC President Shri Tariq Hameed Karra has said that US President Donald Trump is dictating terms and imposing decisions , that suit US, as Prime minister Modi is compromised due to pressures of Epstein files revealations and Adani case.
Addressing a largely attended Congress rally at Ghou Manhasan in Marh constituency organised by former minister Shri Mula Ram, JKPCC Chief said that India never succumbed to pressures of super powers and always followed an independent foreign policy right from Pt Nehru, in the intrests of our nation.For the first time US is imposing decisions against the intrests of our country,as PM is compromised due to undue pressure.
Terming it very serious attack on the sovereignty and dignity of our country, Karra questioned why PM Modi is silent and not answering to the questions being asked in this regard.
The recent deal imposed by US,is anti farmers, anti people and has put the economic intrests of countrymen at stake,as Indians have to bear the brunt of US taxes .All commodities including LPG, petrol, diesel have gone costlier and more would follow.
Referring to the political situation in J&K, JKPCC Chief said that BJP led centre government is treating people here as second class citizens by depriving them of the status of statehood as well as the decisions are taken by centre and the nominated head despite an elected government in place. The dual control system is root cause of prevailing uncertainty and lack of accountability in the system.
Urging people to question BJP for the failure to deliver despite getting huge mandate from Jammu region by promising statehood and massive development, he said 29 MLAS of BJP are unable to speak a word about restoration of statehood or get adequate funds for devastation of floods to provide adequate relief to affected people especially farmers.
The unemployed and daily wagers, contractual,temporary employees etc are suffering due to lack of adequate financial package from centre to J&K, to redress their grievances by regularising their jobs. Centre & BJP can't escape responsibility towards youth who are suffering.
Working President Raman Bhalla, Former minister Mula Ram Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Th Balbir Singh, Th Hari Singh Chib, Th Manmohan Singh, DCC President Neeraj Kundan, NSUI President Ajay Lakhotra , Ashok Bhagat, Rajinder Happysudagar Singh, Kuldeep Sharma, Bhavishya Sudan Vijyant Pathania, Ratan Lal Sharma Ram Pal, Dr Gopal Dass, Baldev Bhagat, Parveen Akhtar, Babu Khan, Jagdish Raj were prominent present.
Working President Shri Raman Bhalla that Modi government is pro capitalist and it's policies are anti farmers, anti poor and anti common people.People have been burderned under unprecedented price hike ,large scale unemployment and joblessness..
He said that common people have suffered under BJP regime which has only worked for the big corporate friends like Adani,Ambani and few others at the cost of common people. The government has waived off lakhs crores of loans of big corporates but farmers re dying.
He asked common people and youth to rise to oppose the wrong policies of Modi government and to free the nation from the rule of anti farmers, anti people BJP besides to safeguard their land jobs and natural resources in J&K.
Senior leader abd former minister Mula Ram lashed out at centre government for betraying people of Jammu and Kashmir over statehood, which was promised several times by Prime Minister and Home Minister.
He said that all people of J&K ate suffering a lot due to dual control system and lack of statehood. He referred to the sufferings of different sections of people right from unemployment, daily wagers flood affected people, farmers and others oppressed people due to wrong policies of Modi.
DCC President Neeraj Kundan asked the workers and youth to keep an eye on the revision of voter lists undertaken in J&K and ensure that all genuine voters are registered in their area for Assembly and PRIs. He asked them to choose and elect genuine, honest candidates for all institutions of democracy to fight for ithe rights of people.
Several Senior Congress leaders and block functionaries of the party addressed the gathering and highlighted the sufferings of people due to lack of accountability and responsive administration under dual control system.
