Jammu, Jun 1 : Three women chain snatchers were arrested after they robbed a pilgrim in Katra base camp of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources here today said.
‘’Three Delhi based women chain snatchers were arrested yesterday after they robbed a pilgrim near Darshani Deodi, about one km from Katra town,’’ police sources told UNI.
They snatched a gold chain of a pilgrim from Mumbai near Darshani Deodi when she was returning to Katra along with her family, the police added.
The chain snatchers had been identified as Nalini, Omti, Devi and Daya, all residents of Seva Nagar, New Delhi.
Police however, had registered a case and investigation was underway.
