JAMMU, Apr 7: The Elite Law Institute proudly hosted its Felicitation Ceremony 2026 to honour the outstanding achievements of its successful candidates in Judicial and competitive examinations. The event witnessed the gracious presence of eminent dignitaries, proud parents, faculty members, and aspiring students.
The ceremony was presided over by Hon'ble Chief Guest Justice (Retd.) Vinod Chatterjee Kaul, who addressed the gathering with deep insight into the role and responsibilities of the judiciary. He guided the selected candidates on maintaining integrity, commitment, and balance while serving the justice delivery system. He also appreciated the Institute's consistent efforts in mentoring future judicial officers and congratulated the successful candidates.
The Guest of Honour, Sh B.R. Sharma (Retd. IAS, Former Chairman JKPSC), applauded the Institute for its remarkable results. In his address, he shared valuable perspectives on decision-making, emphasizing clarity of thought, fairness, and responsibility-qualities essential for a Judicial officer.
Another distinguished Guest of Honour, Retd Distt. and Sessions Judge Sh. C.L. Bawaria, inspired students by elaborating on the nobility of the legal profession. He highlighted the journey ahead for newly selected candidates and fondly recalled his role in guiding many of them during interview preparation.
Sh. Parveen Sharma, Chairman of Citizens Cooperative Bank and Director, S.R. College of Competitions, also addressed the gathering. He emphasized the crucial role played by coaching institutes in shaping careers and, in a lighter vein, spoke about the challenges faced by such institutions in maintaining quality mentorship.
Adding further depth to the discussion, Dr. Gopal Parthasarathi congratulated the achievers and shed light on the pressing issue of pendency of cases in subordinate courts. He encouraged the newly selected candidates to rise to the challenges and contribute meaningfully to the justice system.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by the Chairperson of Elite Law Institute, Yogita Sharma, who extended her heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, guests, students, and their families for being a part of the celebration.
The event was further graced by the presence of parents and family members of the selected candidates, making the occasion even more special. The candidates were felicitated for their achievements, and some parents shared their experiences, acknowledging the Institute's vital role in shaping their children's careers.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the Founder of Elite Law Institute, Kapil Sharma (Advocate, Special Public Prosecutor, Narcotic Control Bureau, Government of India), accompanied by his daughter Aadya Sharma. The formal proceedings were followed by a lunch gathering, allowing attendees to interact and celebrate the success together.
The Elite Law Institute continues to reaffirm its commitment to excellence in legal education and mentorship, shaping the future pillars of the judiciary.
