| YALKS gives call for Srinagar challo | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, June 1: The youth of all India Kashmiri samaj (YALKS) future of gen-x Kashmiri pandits in a meeting have decided to take up an agitational path, as they have been deprive of their fundamental rights. As per press release activists of YALKS said no action has been taken by the state government to implement prime minister employment package announced last June 2008. Activists of YALKS said, that fate of 15000 Kashmiri Pandits un-employed boys and girls is in dark, as state government till date failed to implement the package. The release further adds that the youth and community have pressurized the YALKS organizations to start a direct action programme of which the entirely responsibility will be on the state govt. in the first phase of the direct action programme (DAP) hundreds of frontline workers of the organization willl sit on a dharna in front of the srinagar secretariat led by R.K. Bhat. The strike will continue till the orders are issued in favour of the candidates who have submitted their consent letters already the Srinagar secretariat challo march will start from June, 3rd from YALKS H.Q. Lower Roopnagar, Muthi, Jammu and will enroot proceed to Srinagar secretariat on 4th June to 6th June. The organization appeals all socio, political, religious organizations for support to the genuine cause.
