| Mahila Congress holds meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 1: The Pradesh mahila congress activists and its president MLA, Indu Pawar conveyed their gratitude to congress president Sonia Gupta for leading the party to a unprecedented success in recently held parliamentary elections.
In a meeting speakers on the occasion appreciated the efforts of congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, prime minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi for bringing UPA back in power. They also thanked the congress president for projecting a woman for the candidature of Lok Sabha speaker. They said that women of Jammu and Kashmir have also worked hard in the elections and deserved appreciation.
Prominent among those spoke in the meeting includes Lalita Sharma, Santosh Manhas, Sumitra Jasrotia, Raj Bakshi, Kiran Anand, and Jyoti Vaid etc.
