| Deputation calls on Hari Singh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 1: A meeting of block congress committee Vijaypur was held today Vijaypur. The meeting was chaired by Thakur Hari Singh, vice president pradesh congress committee.
In a resolution, “the meeting congratulated congress president Sonia Gandhi and prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for leading the party to unprecedented victory and brought UPA to power. The meeting also appreciated the dedicated efforts of AICC general secretary (I/C J&K) Prithvi Raj Chavan and PCC president Prof. Saifuddin Soz for the success of the Congress and its allies in Jammu and Kashmir”.
Earlier a deputation of local people met Th. Hari Singh and apprised him about the scarcity of drinking water in their respective areas. He assured them that he will take up the matter with the concerned authorities for redressal. Among others who were present during the meeting were Amar Nath Bhatti, Dr. Buti Ram, Ch. Rachpal Singh, Davinder Singh, Anil Jamwal and others.
