| Traffic Awareness Camp organized at Akhnoor | | |  Early Times Report
AKHNOOR, Apr 20: The Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Akhnoor, in collaboration with the Traffic Police, organized a traffic awareness camp at Nirdosh Chowk, Akhnoor, with the objective of promoting road safety and spreading awareness about traffic rules and regulations.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Munsiff Judge Ms. Arushi Shukla. Panel Lawyer Mrs. Meetika Sharma actively participated in the camp and educated the public on the importance of adhering to traffic norms to prevent road accidents.
Officials from the Traffic Police also contributed to the awareness drive by guiding commuters, pedestrians, and local residents on safe driving practices. Emphasis was laid on the use of helmets and seat belts, obeying traffic signals, avoiding over-speeding, and following lane discipline.
The initiative witnessed an encouraging response from the public, who appreciated the joint efforts of the Legal Services Committee and Traffic Police in organizing such an informative programme.
The Tehsil Legal Services Committee reaffirmed its commitment to continue conducting such awareness campaigns in collaboration with concerned departments for the safety and well-being of the general public.
