| Mir Lasjan appeals for calm in valley | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, June 02
Senior Congress leader and AICC Member Ghulam Nabi Mir Lasjan has appealed masses of valley to maintain calm at this juncture and wait for the report of the judicial probe so that culprits would be unmasked before the public.
In a statement, Mir said that CM has already ordered a judicial probe headed by retired High Court Judge Muzafar Jan in the death of two women under mysterious circumstances in the Shopian district on Saturday.
He also added that government is committed to hold an impartial inquiry without any influence in the incident to ensure free and fair investigations which could lead to extract truth behind the death of innocent women in the area.
