A visionary leader, distinguished academician, and transformative institution builder, Prof. (Dr.) Shakti K. Gupta has made extraordinary contributions to healthcare leadership, hospital administration, policy, and medical education. Hailing from Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir, he is an alumnus of Government Medical College Jammu and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Beginning his illustrious career in J&K Health Services, he later served AIIMS New Delhi with distinction, where he headed the Department of Hospital Administration and pioneered numerous academic, administrative, and quality initiatives.
As the Founding Executive Director and CEO of AIIMS Jammu, Prof. (Dr.) Shakti K. Gupta has transformed the AIIMS Jammu into a modern, patient-centric Center of Excellence.
