| ACG Defence Accounts visits HAWS, 15 Corps | | |

Jammu, June 02- D. Lahiri, Additional Controller Genera (ACG)l of Defence Accounts, New Delhi, who is currently on a visit to the state, made a visit to Headquarters 15 Corps and High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS) at Gulmarg . He was accompanied by Gautam Sen, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Northern Command).
Lahiri was acquainted by the HAWS officers on the scope of their training activities as well as terrain conditions and need of amenities. Lahiri opined that the high-level R .K. MATHUR Committee of Ministry of Defence is examining various aspects of War System of Accounting in the Northern and Eastern Theatres could obtain valuable inputs from HAWS in the matter. He also discussed financial and accounting issues with Lt. General K Bikram Singh GOC 15 Corps at the Corps Headquarters.
