Rajouri unites against drug abuse

RAJOURI, Apr 29: In a determined effort to strengthen the fight against drug abuse, the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports District Rajouri organised a series of impactful and well coordinated activities across the district under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan.
The campaign featured a diverse range of programmes including Padyatra, Yoga sessions, pledge ceremonies and fitness and wellness activities, all aimed at spreading awareness and inspiring positive behavioural change among the youth.
The Padyatra witnessed energetic participation from students and young volunteers who marched through key areas of the district, spreading awareness and raising a strong voice against drug abuse. Yoga sessions conducted at multiple venues emphasized mental clarity, discipline and holistic well being, reinforcing the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
Pledge ceremonies were organised across institutions where participants solemnly resolved to stay away from drugs and actively contribute towards building a drug free society. Fitness and wellness activities further motivated the youth to channel their energy into constructive and health oriented pursuits.
The Directorate of Youth Services and Sports District Rajouri reiterated its unwavering commitment to continue such initiatives, ensuring maximum outreach and sustained impact at the grassroots level. The overwhelming participation across the district stands as a testament to the collective resolve of the community to eliminate the menace of drugs and build a vibrant, healthy and empowered Rajouri.
