Govt Polytechnic College Reasi organized sports activities under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

REASI, Apr 29: As a part of 100 Days Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan launched by District Administration Reasi, Government Polytechnic College Reasi today organized a series of indoor sports activities within the college premises. The event witnessed active participation of 60 students representing different departments in different indoor sports activities such as Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom, providing students an opportunity to showcase their skills, focus, and strategic thinking.
The program was organised under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Arun Bangotra, whose encouragement motivated the participants. He observed the activities with great interest and appreciated the students for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. While addressing the students, Principal Dr. Bangotrasaid that sports activities serve as a positive platform for channeling the energy, improving fitness and promoting constructive habits among the students. In addition to students, faculty members also actively participated in the event. The events were organised under the supervision of faculty members, Akankasha Sharma, Veena Thapa, Prashtom Lal, Prashtom Singh, and Anil Kumar, who boosted the morale of the students and created a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. The main objective of the event was to promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle among students by engaging them in positive and constructive activities. The initiative successfully highlighted the importance of staying physically active and mentally strong.
