The programme was coordinated by Prof. Mohd Younus Saleem (Nodal Officer, NMBA) and Prof. Nasar Ahmed who ensured smooth execution and enthusiastic participation of students. Three students from BA Sem. II participated in the competition and expressed their insightful views on the devastating impact of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society at large. The objective of the competition was to sensitise students about the harmful consequences of substance abuse and to encourage them to become ambassadors of change in society. Participants highlighted issues such as rising addiction among youth, the role of peer pressure, and the need for collective responsibility in combating this menace. The essays were evaluated by a panel of faculty members on the basis of content, creativity, clarity of thought, and relevance to the theme. The best entries will be awarded and recognised in upcoming college events. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal appreciated the efforts of the organising committee and emphasised the importance of continuous awareness programmes to eradicate drug abuse. She encouraged students to actively participate in such initiatives and contribute towards a healthier and drug-free nation.
