GDC Khour organizes Wall Painting drive under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

KHOUR, Apr 30: Government Degree College Khour organized a wall painting activity on 30th April under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free society. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) T.K. Sharma, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to actively participate in awareness campaigns promoting a drug-free and healthy lifestyle. He emphasized the role of youth in building a responsible and addiction-free society.
The wall painting activity was carried out by NCC cadets of the college under the supervision of Prof. Shivani Sharma, ANO and Nodal Officer of NMBA. Dr. Sapna Narania and Dr. Pooja Kumari also supervised the event and guided the students throughout the activity. Through their creative artwork, the cadets conveyed strong anti-drug messages and emphasized the importance of leading a healthy and drug-free life.
The programme concluded with the NMBA pledge, wherein all participants took an oath to contribute towards building a drug-free society and to spread awareness in their respective communities. All committee members were present on the occasion, including Prof. Jozafeen Afzal and Dr. Anjana Sharma.
