JAMMU, Apr 30: Students and teachers of Dewan Devi Public School, Jammu today participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Vande Bharat train held in Jammu & Kashmir. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Chief Minister of J&K Omar Abdullah and Yudvir Sethi graced the occasion as chief guests. Several senior officials from the Railways and administration were also present. The event featured vibrant cultural activities which the students thoroughly enjoyed. Following the ceremony, students and staff had the special opportunity to travel on the Vande Bharat train. The children had a wonderful experience on board and enjoyed the refreshments served during the journey. During the ceremony, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd position winners of the school's 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' Drawing and Essay Competition were felicitated and awarded prizes and gifts.The students and teachers felt proud to be part of this historic occasion and called it a memorable experience. |
