Kathua, May 3: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha, JK (UT) held its meeting on 03-05-2026 at Raj Tilak Bhawan, Purani Mandi, Jammu to find out a suitable candidate for the post of District President, Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha, Kathua, Sh. Kartar Singh Jasrotia, District President Rajput Sabha, Kathua who has expressed his inability to continue on the present post due to his old age. The prominent members of Rajput Biradari of Kathua and its surrounding areas attended the meeting besides executive committee members of the central sabha to debate on the issue. After thread bare discussion. The name of Sh. Jatinder Singh was unanimously proposed for the post and seconded by the members. Sh. Kartar Singh Jasrotia Distt. President Kathua also recommended his name, which was unanimously approved. Sh. Kartar Singh Jasrotia highlighted his achievements as Distt. President Rajput Sabha, Kathua. Which were appreciated by all the members.
He further stated that he could do all this with the assistance of his dedicated team members. Sh. Kartar Singh Jasrotia President Kathua expressed the dilapidated condition of old Rajput Bhawan Kathua which require renovation of Bhawan. Immediate to protect from further damage of the building. The Central Sabha Jammu assured to renovate the Rajput Kathua Bhawan at the earliest the proceedings of the meeting of sabha was conducted by Sh. Mangleshwar Singh Gen Secretary of the Sabha. Shri Bishan Singh Jamwal President Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha JK (UT) Jammu in his address congratulated Sh. Kartar Singh Jasrotia for his dedicated services rendered to the Rajput Sabha as well as to the welfare of Rajput Biradari. However, Sh. Kartar Singh Jasrotia will work as Chairman of the District Sabha, Kathua. Kr. Narayan Singh Chairman, Rajput Sabha Trust Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha JK (UT) appreciated the working of Sh. Kartar Singh Jasrotia and his team of Kathua District. He congratulated Jatinder Singh Distt. President Rajput Sabha, Kathua and advised to work for the welfare of Rajput Biradari and nominate his team with the approval of the central sabha.
