| BJYM activists protest against atrocities on Indians in Australia | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 03- Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists led by State President Pawan Khajuria, today took out a protest rally and burnt the effigy of the Australian Government for its total failure to check atrocities on the Indian students in Australia. They were carrying placards with slogans of “Protect Indians in Australia”. Pawan Khajuria, on this occasion, said that the Indian students and working people in Australia have been repeatedly assaulted and even severely injured for no fault. While the students are there for education purposes paying exorbitant tuition fees and enabling the Australian educational institutions to become rich and profitable and thus making the Australian education system prosperous. The Indian students perforce have to look institutions abroad as the most of the Indian institutions still lack creative and inspiring academic environment. Khajuria asked Government of India to take up the issue of security of Indians residing in Australia with the Australian government. He said that the Indian government should concentrate on improving the standards of the educational institutions in India so that the students need not to go abroad. By doing this, India will also be saving foreign currency and enable the aspiring students also get education at a very low cost. BJYM State Vice-presidents Munish Sharma, Surinder Choudhary, Pranav Gupta, General Secretary Sanjay Baru, Secretary Vipan Shastri, Press Secretary Parimoksh Seth, Cashier Pappu Choudhary, Office Secretary Sanjay Khajuria, District President Jammu Vikrant Singh, Sanjeev Gupta, Rinky Sharma, Neeraj Choudhary, Bhushan Kumar, Ajay Gupta, Vikram Singh, Rahul Kesar, Ajay Mehra, Lalit, Akhil and hundreds of activists took part in the protest demonstration.
