| JKCA team survey’s site for cricket stadium | | |

Jammu, June 3
On directions of JKCA President Dr Farooq Abdullah a team of Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association officials led by JKCA Chairman Aslam Goni today visited Bajalta near Sidhra and conducted an on the spot survey of the proposed site for building a BCCI –JKCA cricket stadium . Officials from the state Revenue department and a team of architects also accompanied the team. The team also visited the Science College Hostel cricket grounds in order to take stock of the ground and infrastructure there. JKCA working president Romesh Mahajan, Member JKCA Finance Committee Ranjeet Kalra, Ranji Trophy Selector Ashok Singh and JKCA Working Committee member Dr Vinod Bakshi also accompanied the Chairman on the visit. The team had earlier also visited different spots in Kashmir for building a Cricket Stadium. JKCA Treasurer Ehsan Mirza and Jt.Secy Kashmir Gulam Ahmed Bhat were part of the survey team in Kashmir. A detailed report in this regard shall soon be submitted to the JKCA President Dr Farooq Abdullah.
