Assar, June 3: A day long convention of congress workers was hold here today and was attended by large number of workers of different areas of the block.
In the convention workers strongly urged upon the senior leaders of the party induction of Sham Lal Bhagat as MLC. They said Bhagat has contributed a lot in implementing programme and policies of the congress party.
MLA, Ramban, Ashok Kumar, Bodhraj Bhagat and Abdul Majeed also spoke on the occasion and congratulated the party president Sonia Gandhi in forming the government at the centre once again.
