| Summer vacations in Courts from June 8 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 03- According to the notification issued by the J&K High Court the State High Court will remain closed for summer vacation of 2009 from Monday June 8, 2009 to Friday June 26, 2009.
In terms of the Rule 12 of J&K High Court Rules 1999, Chief Justice nominates the Judges to be Vacations Judges for both wings of the High Court to hear matters which may require to be immediately or promptly dealt with for the respective periods.
According to the Registrar General MK Hanjura that Justice JP Singh who will be the Vacation Judge for Jammu Wing will hold the Court from June 15, 2009 to June 26, 2009. For the Srinagar Wing Justice Sunil Hali will hold the Court from week commencing from June 22, 2009 whereas Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar will hold the Court week commencing from June 15, 2009.
According to another notification issued by Registrar General the Civil vacation in the Subordinate Courts of Jammu Province (excluding Bhaderwah, Kishtwar and Doda) shall be observed for a period of 15 days with effect from June 8, 2009 to June 22, 2009. JNF
