Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 14: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial President Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta, on Thursday said that the Youth National Conference (YNC) has served as a springboard for nurturing leaders who later strengthened the party's parent body.
He made these remarks while addressing a meeting of the Youth National Conference (YNC), District Jammu Rural "A" at Sher-e- Kashmir Bhawan, the party's provincial headquarter in Jammu Chaired by its District President Jammu Rural "A" Vikas Choudhary.
Addressing the gathering, Gupta underscored the vital role played by the YNC in shaping the political careers of many leaders in the region.
"The YNC has not only been a launchpad for emerging leaders but has also provided a platform where youth can voice their concerns and contribute to the larger narrative of change and progress. Many of our current leaders have risen through the ranks of the YNC, and today they stand as pillars of strength for the party and the people. The future of the National Conference lies in the hands of our youth, and we are proud of their commitment to the cause," he said.
Gupta further described the Youth National Conference as the backbone of the party and stressed the importance of youth participation in strengthening democratic values and public welfare. "We look to our young leaders to continue the fight for justice, development, and the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The energy, enthusiasm, and dedication that our youth bring to the table will be instrumental in the party's growth and in realizing our vision for a better future for the region," he added.
The meeting focused on enhancing youth engagement, strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level, and strategizing future initiatives aimed at the welfare and empowerment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Discussions also highlighted the importance of proactive involvement in local issues and the need for youth-driven change to ensure the region's future prosperity.
Speakers at the occasion emphasized the need to build stronger networks and collaborations to ensure meaningful participation of youth in all facets of party activities. The session also served as a platform for exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, and encouraging innovation among young leaders who are expected to play a key role in shaping the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. Gupta emphasized that this time most of the mandates will be given to youth in the fourth coming elections of Panchayat and Urban Local bodies.
