JAMMU, May 15: MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa today inaugurated the upgradation of drains, covering of drains at various internal lanes, and other allied developmental works in Ward No. 47.
The inauguration was carried out along with former Corporator Smt. Sharda Kumari, in the presence of officials from Jammu Municipal Corporation including the concerned JE and a large gathering of local residents.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa said that the demand for proper drainage and improvement of internal lanes in the area was pending for a long time. He said that fulfilling the genuine demands of the people and providing better civic amenities remains his foremost priority.
He further stated that these developmental works will improve sanitation, drainage facilities, and ease of movement for the local residents. MLA Randhawa reaffirmed his commitment towards the overall development of Bahu Constituency and assured the public that more public welfare works will be taken up in the coming time.
Local residents appreciated the efforts of the MLA and thanked him for fulfilling their long-pending demand. On the occasion, MLA Bahu also handed over the completed lane and developmental works to the people of the area. |
