| LJSP rues unscheduled power cuts | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 4: ‘Unschedule power cuts and irregular supply of drinking water, have made people’s life miserable’ said Sanjeev Manmotra, state working president of Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJSP) at a press conference here today.
Manmotra said, departments of PDD and PHE are least bothered about the problems faced by the general masses, keeping in view the rise in mercury during current summer monts. He said the promises made by the ex.chief minister G.N. Azad with regard to Sheetle water plant, is in dol drum and nothing has been done till date in this regard. He urged upon the government that steps be taken on war footing to provide relief to masses who suffer badly for want of drinking water and power.
Party spokesman, Kuldeep Kumar Rao on the occasion said that roads in the city are in diliapated conditions, besides heaps of dust one found every where. He said dug up roads needs restoration on war footing as the rainy season is not far off.
During the conference district president for Doda, Kistwar, rural Jammu and general secretary youth were announced.
