Samba police nabbed drug peddler with 4.84 grams heroin like substance 5/23/2026 9:46:05 PM Early Times Report SAMBA, May 23: Intensifying its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers in the ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba and recovered approximately 4.84 grams heroin-like substance (Chitta) from his possession. Acting on the information received from reliable sources, a Police team of Police Station Samba intercepted a pedestrian under suspicious circumstances at Mansar Morh Samba. During frisking, approximately 4.84 grams of heroin-like substance (Chitta) was recovered from his possession. The drug peddler identified as Jatin Kumar S/o Som Nath R/o Rangpur tehsil R S Pura district Jammu has been arrested and contraband item has also been seized.
