Jammu, June 5: MLA Rajouri Shabir Ahmed Khan expressed concern over the power crises and shortage of drinking water in Rajouri Constituency and urged upon the state govt. to take appropriate steps on this score.
As pre a release, after touring several areas of Rajouri constituency Khan said that he met the people and deputations who brought into his notice that there is problem of power failure and shortage of drinking water in their respective areas.
Khan urged upon the govt to take steps to provide drinking water and uninterrupted power supply to the people of Rajouri. He asked the PHE authorities to put into service more water tankers for Rajouri constituency in order to mitigate the problems of drinking water. He also demanded for adequate supply of rations to the govt depots as far flung areas of Rajouri, the release added.
