| Bhatti appreciate govts action against PHE officers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 5: National Sikh Front _President and National Conference leader S. Kulwant Singh Bhatti appreciated the action taken by the government against P.H.E. Officers under whose supervise the construction of overhead water tank which collapsed yesterday at Paloura was executed.
In a statement issued today Bhatti alleged that various projects and which under different categories are under progress in Jammu where the officers of concerned department’s in hand in gloves with construction agencies and contractors are misappropriating govt. funds.
He said that the Ploura incident is the recent example of sub-standard material issued by the contractor with the consent of concerned officers.
Bhatti also condemned the high headed attitude of UEED Junior Engineer & Contractor who are executing sewerage project in Digiana area. He said that the project was initiated by local M.L.A. after the repeated request of locals but even after the lapse of more than one and half year the work is still reeling at snail’s speed.
