JAMMU, May 30: Department of Youth Services and Sports of District Jammu commence Inter Zonal District level Competitions of Volleyball under 14 Yrs. & 17 Yrs. girls and Handball U 17 Yrs. girls at MA Stadium Jammu.
These competitions is being organised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports JK UT Smt. Anuradha Gupta (JKAS) under the guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Sh. Inderjeet Singh (JKAS) and under the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
The technical committee members comprising Naresh Kumar ,Jagjeet Singh, Amit Shama Mulkh Raj, Taran Pal Singh, Ravinder Sethi, Harjot Khour, Rekha Devi Shubham, Rekha Devi and other technical officials of the department.
Approximately 140 students/players are drawn from various Zones of District Jammu participated in this event, showcasing their talents. These competitions providing a platform for young players to showcase their talents and vie for the victory in this esteemed tournament
The conduct of these competitions make it successful, DYSSO Jammu framed experience staff and committees for running this tournament more beneficial. The Technical Committee, Organising Committees such as Medical Committee, Registration Committee, and Equipment Committee were framed for smooth conduct of these competitions
