| Pensioners condemn biased attitude of Govt. | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 06- The Pensioner’s Association District Kathua has condemned the biased and discriminatory attitude of the Government towards the state pensioners.
The Association in a handout said that non implementation of SRO 94 in favour of the pensioners and SRO 106 regarding the release of 7 per cent dearness allowance speaks volume of discrimination against them.
Urging the Government to release DA arrears due from July last, the Association has demanded enhancement in Medical allowance by Rs.200 per month, implementation of 6th pay commission recommendations and release of arrears in single installment from January 1, 2006, besides issuance of identity cards to the state pensioners.
