Early Times Report JAMMU, June 5: On the occasion of World Environment Day, District Police Jammu organized plantation drives at District Police Lines (DPL) Jammu and various Police Stations and Police Chowkis across the district to promote environmental conservation and create awareness about the importance of protecting nature. At DPL Jammu, the plantation drive was led by SP Headquarters Jammu, along with DySP DAR, Reserve Inspector, Line Officer, and other police personnel. Saplings were planted within the premises as part of the initiative to enhance green cover and contribute towards a cleaner and healthier environment. Similar plantation drives were conducted at Police Stations and Police Chowkis throughout the district, with active participation from officers and officials. The programmes reflected Jammu Police's commitment towards environmental sustainability and community welfare. The plantation drives concluded with a collective commitment by police personnel to continue supporting initiatives aimed at environmental protection and sustainable development. |
