Early Times Report JAMMU, June 6: To commemorate the historic achievement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi becoming the longest-serving Prime Minister of India, BJP OBC Morcha organised special cleanliness and plantation drives at Sunderbani in Nowshera and Village Braman, Rafiabad in Baramulla as part of its commitment towards environmental conservation and the ideals of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The plantation drive was organised at Village Braman, Rafiabad, Baramulla under the leadership of Gulzar Ahmed, Constituency President BJP OBC Morcha Rafiabad, while the cleanliness drive was conducted at the revered Baba Narsingh Dev Sthan, Sunderbani, Nowshera under the leadership of Suresh Kumar Mehra, Mandal President BJP OBC Morcha. During both programmes, party leaders and workers actively participated in planting saplings of indigenous plant species and carried out extensive cleanliness activities. Volunteers cleaned the premises and surrounding areas using brooms and mops, spreading the message of environmental responsibility and public participation in maintaining cleanliness. The plantation drive at Rafiabad witnessed the presence of Fayaz Ahmad, State General Secretary BJP OBC Morcha, Tariq Ahmad Ganie, District Vice President BJP OBC Morcha Baramulla, and Muzaffar Ahmad Nazar, District General Secretary BJP OBC Morcha Baramulla, along with several local workers and residents.The plantation and cleanliness drive at Sunderbani was attended by Pritam Sharma, District President BJP; Sham Mehra, State General Secretary BJP OBC Morcha; Senior Leader Capt. Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visionary leadership has transformed cleanliness and environmental protection into people's movements. They stated that the plantation and cleanliness drives symbolise the party's commitment to sustainable development, ecological balance and public participation. They further emphasized that every citizen should contribute towards keeping their surroundings clean and protecting nature for future generations. In his message, Braham Jyot Satti, President BJP OBC Morcha, Jammu & Kashmir, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on achieving the distinction of becoming the longest-serving Prime Minister of India. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the nation has witnessed unprecedented development, inclusive governance and empowerment of all sections of society. Satti appreciated the efforts of BJP OBC Morcha workers across Jammu & Kashmir for organising programmes dedicated to cleanliness and environmental conservation, stating that such initiatives reflect the spirit of service, responsibility and nation-building envisioned by the Prime Minister. |
