JAMMU, June 6: The Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra Welfare Society (MKBYWS), under the chairmanship of Er. Kiran Wattal along with its General Secretary Shri M.K. Yogi, has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha for inaugurating the newly constructed Yatri Bhawan at the revered Mata Kheer Bhawani Shrine, Tullamulla. The Society described inauguration as a landmark achievement for the devotees of Mata Kheer Bhawani. It is noteworthy that the foundation stone of Yatri Bhawan was laid by Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor nearly two years ago, and the project has been completed within a record period of two years, reflecting the commitment of the administration towards strengthening pilgrimage infrastructure and providing enhanced facilities to visiting devotees.
MKBYWS highly appreciated efforts of the UT Administration, Relief and Rehabilitation Department, and all concerned agencies for ensuring the timely completion of this important facility, which will greatly benefit pilgrims visiting the holy shrine. On the occasion, a delegation of Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra Welfare Society led by Er. Kiran Wattal, Convenor, and Shri M.K. Yogi, General Secretary, presented a beautifully framed photograph of holy Mata Kheer Bhawani Shrine, Tullamulla, to Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha as a token of gratitude and appreciation for his unwavering support towards the Yatra and the welfare of Kashmiri Pandit community. Er. Kiran Wattal stated that Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra is not merely a pilgrimage but a living symbol of the centuries-old faith, traditions and cultural identity of the Kashmiri Pandit community. He appealed to devotees across the country to participate in large numbers in the forthcoming Yatra and seek the blessings of Mata Ragnya Bhagwati. M.K. Yogi appreciated the positive response and cooperation extended by various government departments and expressed confidence that all arrangements would be completed well in time for the smooth and successful conduct of the Yatra. The Divisional Administration has assured the Society of comprehensive security arrangements and all necessary assistance for pilgrims. The forthcoming Yatra will be conducted broadly in accordance with the successful Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) implemented last year, with further improvements in transportation, accommodation, sanitation, medical facilities, drinking water supply, traffic management and other logistical support services. The Society expressed confidence that under leadership of Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha and with cooperation of all concerned departments, the forthcoming Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra 2026 will be organized in a safe, peaceful and spiritually fulfilling manner, enabling thousands of devotees to participate in the sacred pilgrimage with devotion and reverence at the holy shrine of Mata Ragnya Bhagwati, Tullamulla. The delegation was accompanied by Prof. B.L. Zutshi, Shri Sanjay Saraf, Shri Sanjay Raina, Shri Avinash Fotedar, and other distinguished members of the Society.
