JAMMU, June 8: The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management (MSCM), Central University of Jammu today organized an Alumni Meet, providing a vibrant platform for interaction between alumni, faculty members, and students. The event aimed to strengthen the bond between the institution and its graduates while facilitating the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and professional insights. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Anju Thapa, Assistant Professor, Department of MSCM, who welcomed the alumni and highlighted the department's efforts to foster a strong and engaged alumni network. Addressing the gathering, Prof. Neelika Arora, Dean, School of Business Studies, emphasized the importance of remaining grounded in life despite professional success and achievements. He also acknowledged the visionary leadership of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, for consistently encouraging departments to organize meaningful academic, professional, and outreach activities. His unwavering support and commitment to fostering a vibrant academic environment have played a significant role in strengthening industry-academia engagement and creating platforms that promote interaction between students, alumni, faculty, and industry professionals.
The alumni shared their professional journeys, experiences, and achievements across various sectors, offering valuable guidance to current students on career planning, industry expectations, and skill development. They also discussed emerging opportunities and challenges in the fields of marketing, supply chain management, and business administration. The interactive sessions provided students with an opportunity to engage directly with successful alumni, gain practical insights, and understand contemporary industry trends.
