| Kavinder felicitates meritorious students for outstanding performance in Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha | | | Early Times Report SHIMLA, June 8: The Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Kavinder Gupta said that Indian culture is the foundation of nation building and emphasized the need to connect the younger generation with the country's rich cultural heritage, traditions and moral values. He said that a strong and prosperous nation can be built only when its youth remain rooted in the civilizational values that have guided India for centuries. The Governor was addressing the Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha Prize Distribution Ceremony organized by the All World Gayatri Pariwar in Shimla today. He also felicitated the meritorious students who excelled in the examination and lauded their dedication towards learning about India's rich cultural heritage, traditions and values. Kavinder Gupta said that the Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha provides an effective platform for promoting cultural awareness, ethical values, patriotism and national consciousness among students and plays an important role in strengthening their connection with India's cultural roots. Gupta said that India's ancient scriptures and knowledge traditions continue to offer valuable guidance for building a responsible and value-based society. He stressed that while modern education is essential for acquiring knowledge and skills, cultural and moral education is equally important for nurturing responsible citizens and dedicated nation-builders. Highlighting the significance of values in public life, the Governor said that truth, discipline, integrity and service should form the cornerstone of a student's character. He urged young people to take pride in India's glorious heritage and contribute positively towards society through their conduct and commitment. Referring to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, he said that the goal of a developed India can be achieved through a generation empowered with knowledge, skills, values and a strong sense of national responsibility. He called upon students to actively participate in the nation's progress and become agents of positive change. The Governor appreciated the efforts of the All World Gayatri Pariwar in organizing the examination and promoting cultural education among students. He congratulated the students who excelled in the examination and also lauded the role of teachers and parents in instilling values and character among children. On the occasion, Shri Kavinder Gupta felicitated meritorious students for their outstanding performance in the Bharatiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha. State Coordinator of Gayatri Pariwar Shri V.K.
