J&K Bank commissions new onsite ATM at Ajote

JAMMU, June 8: Carrying forward its mission of enhancing customer convenience through robust digital banking infrastructure, J&K Bank today commissioned a new onsite ATM at Ajote in Poonch district.
The ATM was formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma in the presence of General Manager & Divisional Head (Jammu) Ashok Gupta, Zonal Head (Rajouri) Rajeev Kumar Digra amid a gathering of valued customers, local residents besides senior officers of the Bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma appreciated the Bank's sustained efforts towards expanding banking infrastructure in the district. He said, "Access to reliable banking services is integral to inclusive growth and financial empowerment. I commend J&K Bank for continuously leveraging technology to improve customer convenience and extending modern banking facilities to people across urban as well as remote areas."
He also urged the public to make optimal use of digital banking channels for secure, efficient and hassle-free transactions.
Addressing the gathering, General Manager & Divisional Head (Jammu) Ashok Gupta said, "J&K Bank remains committed to strengthening its digital banking ecosystem and ensuring that modern banking facilities are accessible to customers across all geographies. The commissioning of this ATM at Ajote reflects our continued endeavour to bring convenient, secure and technology-driven banking services closer to the people."
He further added, "As customer preferences increasingly shift towards self-service and digital channels, we are continuously augmenting our delivery infrastructure to provide seamless banking experience round the clock. This initiative is part of our larger vision of promoting greater financial inclusion while enhancing customer convenience."
The participants appreciated the Bank for augmenting the banking infrastructure in the area and expressed confidence that the new facility would significantly improve access to banking services for residents, traders and other customers in and around Ajote.
