Sewa Bharti organizes medical check up camp

Jammu, June 6: A free health check up camp in collaboration with Red Cross society and Johnson & Johnson was organized at Ved-Mandir by Sewa Bharti an NGO here today.
The main aim of the health camp was to make awareness about the maintaining of good health and habits to the young people. Doctors on the occasion gave full details to the audience who mostly comprised of youth about the diabetes, obesity, diet and good mental upkeep.
Detection camp for diabetes and anemia mostly in girls were also conducted by the reputed doctors of the area. Awareness about the blood donation was also given in full detail and every youth attached to Sewa Bharti made a pledge that they shall be donating blood once in a year positively.
Sewa Bharti Reg. NGO of J&K is associated with the social service. The main aim of the Sewa Bharti is to reach underprivileged society of J&K, and is conducting medical camps, computer teaching classes, knitting centers, Bal Kendra’s in slum areas and is running a boys hostel namely DISHA at Katra for children of terrorist victims and underprivileged.
