Jammu, June 6: Congratulating the ex-chief minister of the state Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Gulam Nabi Azad in getting birth in the union cabinet as ministers, Ch. Dewan Singh, working president of Jat Kalyan Sabha in a meeting reiterated Sabha’s demand for OBC status on the pattern of states like Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Gujrat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
In a press statement issued here today Dewan Singh has said, that whole Jat community has full faith in the leadership of these leaders and hope long pending demands will be fulfilled under their leadership. He also on behalf of community congratulated MP’s Madan Lal Sharma and Ch. Lal Singh.
Among others present in the meeting were Ch. Kamal, Ch. Hans Raj, Ch. Girdhari, Ch. Sudesh, Ch. Joginder Singh, Ch. Anil, Ch. Som, Ch. Chanan Singh, Ch. Bachan Lal, Bishnah, Ch. Karnail, Ch. Harbans, Ch. Sat Paul, Ch. Dalip and Ch. Mohd. Azam.
