Early Times Report JAMMU, June 12: Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking under the ongoing Nasha Mukht Abhiyan, Jammu (Rural) Police achieved another success by apprehending a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Domana. On specific information received through reliable sources, a police party of Police Station Domana laid a naka near Shiv Temple, Muthi and intercepted one suspicious person carrying a white coloured sack bag. During checking and personal search, approximately 1 Kg 75 grams of contraband substance (Ganja) was recovered from his possession, which he intended to sell to local youth for wrongful gain. The accused has been identified as: Shankardeen Sahu S/o Chhoturam Sahu, R/o Chhattisgarh, presently residing at Muthi Camp. In this regard, FIR No. 129/2026 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana. Further investigation is underway to ascertain backward and forward linkages of the drug network.
