Arnia police arrests drug peddler, recovers heroin

JAMMU, June 13: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, a police team of Police Station Arnia laid a surprise naka checking at Village Kothey Kalyana during the evening hours of 12.06.2026. During the naka checking, one person namely Parveen Kumar @ Pinna S/o Dev Raj R/o Chorli Kothey Bishnah Jammu was intercepted and subjected to search. Upon search, 4.80 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 34/2026 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Arnia and investigation has been taken up.
