8 DEAD IN MISHAPS

Jammu, Jun 6- At least eight persons, including two soldiers, were killed while 15 others were injured in three separate road accidents across Jammu today.
Three persons were killed and six others seriously injured when a truck and fire services bus collided with each other at Nagrota this morning.
According to the sources the incident occurred when a truck PB08AR-5323 collided with a bus coming from opposition direction resulting death of three persons on the spot and injuries to six others.
The deceased have been identified as Divakar Singh, Abdul Rashid and Mohinder Singh.
The injured have been shifted to GMC where the doctors descried the condition of two injured as critical.
Meanwhile, two soldiers were killed when a vehicle they were traveling in fell into a deep gorge in Krishan Ghati Mender in Poonch district.
Reports said that an army vehicle skidded of the road and fell in the deep gorge in Krishan Ghati structure leaving two persons dead and three others injured. The deceased have been identified as Naik Subedar Harbans Lal, Kartika Singha of Signalman.
In another accident, three persons were killed and six others injured two of them critically, when a sumo they were traveling in rolled down at Shalgiri on Jammu- Srinagar NH this afternoon.
The report said that two persons died on the spot and six others were injured when a TATA Sumo (JK03A-6536) on way to Jammu skidded on the road and rolled down in to a deep gorge near Shalgiri, Banihal at around 3 pm. One of the injured succumbed to the injuries on way to hospital. Locals of the area and traffic police officials rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to local hospital. Doctors attending the injured declared two persons brought dead while the six injured were referred to the SKIMS Srinagar.
The deceased have been identified as Shahnawaz Ahmed Mir resident of Tral Pulwama and Yoga Ram of Rajasthan. Lacho Ram of Jalandhar succumbed to serious injuries to way of hospital. Those injured have been identified as Mohammed Khush resident of Chota Sagar Bangal, Rajesh of Rajasthan, Mukhtar Ahmed son of Gulam Mohi-ud-Din resident of Tral, Souhal Akhtar son of Abdul Rashid resident of Wangbal, Prevez Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed Dar of Tral, Shuib Mazid son of Abdul Mazid Bhat resident of Jamina Srinagar.
