| LJSP denounce politics of hartals | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 7: the LJSP working president Sanjeev Manmotra and spokesman K.K Rao have denounced the politics of hartals, saying frequent and prolonged strike have dealt a several blow to the economy of the valley as well as to the livelihood of the poor peoples.
They said that the government have set up a judicial probe to dig into the truth in the Shopian incident and making it amply clear that any one found guilty by the inquiry commission would not be spared, the tragic incident is being used as an excuse to heap hardships on the people. They also criticized the anti people stand taken by the sponsors of hartals and said that they were leading them on the road to self destruction. They sadi that they have no love and sympathy for the victims family and were only doing politcs on a human tragedy that had left every body hurt and anguished. They said that tourism sector which formed the back bone of the state’s economy has been dealt a severe blow and wage earners and people associated with the tourists trade were left with out any gainful activity.
