| PDP demands arrest of culprits involved in Shopian killings | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, June 07-While condemning the brutal killing and raping of a woman and a girl at Shopian, the DPD leaders today demanded harsh punishment to the culprits involved in this gruesome murder.
Terming the killing as an inhumane act, the PDP leaders expressed concern over the irresponsible statement of Chief Minister that the victims died due to drowning in a river.
Demanding arrest of culprits and awarding deterrent punishment, Yashal Sharma and Dr. Mumtaz warned that people of twin border districts of Poonch and Rajouri shall come on roads to get justice. The party activist also held a protest demonstration at the district headquarters which was among others attended by Qazi Abdul Latief, Shamim Ganai, Prem Latta Sudan and Sheikh Mukhtar.
