Early Times Report RAJOURI, June 20: The Indian Army conducted an awareness lecture on "Say No to Drugs" at Solki on 20 Jun 2026, aimed at sensitising civilians, especially the youth, about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of adopting a healthy, disciplined and responsible lifestyle. During the session, civilians were educated on the physical, psychological and social consequences of substance abuse. The lecture highlighted how drug addiction affects individuals, families and society, while also stressing the need to resist peer pressure and make informed life choices. Participants were encouraged to remain vigilant against drug-related activities and contribute actively towards building a drug-free community. As part of the awareness initiative, informative posters and floaters carrying anti-drug messages were displayed within the village premises to reinforce the message among residents. The activity witnessed positive participation and was well appreciated by the civilians. |
