Early Times Report JAMMU, June 20: Reaffirming his commitment towards strengthening civic infrastructure and improving public amenities, MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa today inaugurated the construction work of a lane and drain project worth Rs 33.43 lakh in Ward No. 53, Trikuta Nagar. The work was started in the presence of District General Secretary Kulveer Charak, including party workers Pankaj Bral, Magan Grover, Shailaja Gupta, Vishal Gupta, Naresh Chopra, and a large gathering of local residents. Officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), including JE Vishal Kotwal, along with the concerned contractor, were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Vikram Randhawa said that the ?33.43 lakh project reflects his unwavering commitment to ensuring quality infrastructure and fulfilling the long-pending demands of the people. He emphasized that development remains the cornerstone of his public service and that every ward of the Bahu constituency is witnessing unprecedented progress through focused and result-oriented initiatives. Randhawa directed the concerned officials and contractor to ensure the highest standards of construction quality and timely completion of the project. He reiterated that no compromise would be tolerated in development works and that public funds must be utilized efficiently for the benefit of the people. The local residents expressed their gratitude to MLA Vikram Randhawa for taking up the much-needed project and appreciated his continuous efforts towards transforming the constituency through sustained development and responsive governance. |
