Special Judge Anticorruption, after hearing Advocate Anupam Raina appearing for the petitioners, observed that the offences alleged against the accused petitioner is not punishable with such sentence to which embargo created under Section 497 Cr PC. All codal requirements appear to have been completed on spot and the recovery having been affected, no substantial steps in investigation is required to be taken which warrants custodial interrogation of accused.
