| Jammu Police busts another gang of burglars | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 8: In its special drive Jammu Police today claimed to have busted another gang of burglars with the arrest of five notorious burglars.
The Police arrested five notorious burglars in R S Pura area who confessed their involvement in various theft cases.
The arrested burglars are being put to sustained questioning to ascertain their involvement in other such cases in various police stations of District Jammu.
Those arrested included Balbir Singh son of Ram Saroop resident of Kullain, Bodh Raj son of Om Parkash of Nihal Pur Simbal, Ashwani Kumar son of Jagdish resident of Lalay Check Bishnah, Ghara Ram son of Om Parkash of Rattian and Suresh Kumar son of Bishamber Dass resident of Nehal Pur Simbal.
The Police sources said that accused Suresh Kumar, who was involved in several other dacoities, remained under detention for eight years. The sources further said more arrests are likely in next few days on the disclosure of the arrested persons.
Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu has announced suitable reward for the team which busted this notorious gang.
