Jammu, June 8: the eve of environment week directorate environment, ecology and remote sensing organized a painting and an essay competition in collaboration with scouts/ guides movement on various topics related to environment at Mirpur public school, Kalyanpur (Jhiri) where a training of scouts and guides was going on. Students were drawn from four schools of Jammu city- named, Alexander Memorial School, New Era environmental school, Lawrence public school and host school Mayur public school produced inspiring painting.
Students were highly appreciative of the Directorate of environment, for providing the opportunity. R.C. Sharma, environmental soil conservationist S.S Sharma (D.C.F.) in conservate of forests, from the department of environment & R.S. help is to organize the programme efficiently.
